"It's Still Summer" California wine celebration
$33/person
Tickets on sale this Thursday, September 8 at 9:00am here.
It was a momentous July 20th, 2005 when our favorite "Governator” proclaimed, "California is a vast and fertile land with a rich wine-producing history dating back to the eighteenth century. The American spirit of ingenuity and hard work has made our vineyards among the most fruitful in the world, and California wines have become one of the state's signature products... Now, therefore, I, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Governor of the State of California, do hereby proclaim September 2005, as the ‘CALIFORNIA WINE CELEBRATION’."
Frankly, we couldn't have said it better ourselves. California is the largest wine producing region in the United States (522M gallons worldwide in 2004) and its wines are truly worth celebrating. And, really, why the heck not take a whole month in which to do so?!?!
Join Boston Uncorked on Tuesday September 20th, 7:00-9:00pm at Anthem as we celebrate the true diversity of California wines. From Syrah to Zinfandel, Cabernet to Chardonnay and yes, even Merlot!
Complementing this wine experience will be a selection of hot & cold passed appetizers to go with our panel of California wines. Celebrate with us on this next-to-last "official" day of summer as we enjoy this grapeful bounty from California!

Newport, RI Vineyard & Winery Excursion
$75/person
Tickets on sale Thursday, September 8 at 9:00am here.
You, our members, have asked for a Boston Uncorked winery/vineyard tour event and we are here to deliver. Join us on Saturday, October 1st for our first Estate-level event, as we journey together to the Newport, RI area to visit and tour two of New England’s top vineyards and wine producers: Greenvale Vineyards and Newport Vineyards.
Enjoy this early Autumn outing as we stroll the vineyard rows and partake in the rare experience of sampling grapes right off the vines. We will then have the opportunity to go inside the tasting room to try the wines made from grapes from these same vines (prior vintage, of course). We’ll also get to tour the winery and learn the step-by-step winemaking process.
Your ticket for this event is all inclusive and includes:
- Transportation to and from Boston (see Transportation Details below)
- Tours of both wineries
- Wine tastings at both vineyards
- Engraved tasting glasses from each tasting room
- Picnic lunch on the grounds of one of the wineries
Travel to and from Newport, as well as inter-vineyard transportation, will be by chartered luxury coach bus. Leave the driving to someone else and enjoy the fruits of the vines!
