Harvest -- the gathering of mature crops from the fields -- marks the end of the growing season and is often celebrated.  It is in this spirit that Boston Uncorked is having a fall harvest wine tasting to toast the Autumnal Equinox.

Thoughts of fall conjure up images of changing leaves, apple picking, pumpkins, spices, warmth, and for us -- wine!  What better way to celebrate than at our fall harvest gathering at Garden at the Cellar?  This is a wine and food event, and Chef Will Gilson has created a menu using local ingredients that highlight the New England fall season. 

Join us for this intimate walk-around tasting experience where you will enjoy a delicious array of passed appetizers and family-style buffet dishes paired with bold wines. 

Meet and interact with Chef Gilson as he talks about his food concept and provides recipes for several dishes.  Speaking of which, check out the menu planned for this evening:

Passed Appetizers including:
- fresh mozzarella wrapped in speck w/ basil and local apples
- homemade tater tots
- smoked pork rillets w/ local cranberry and rosemary chutney
- crostini w/ arugula pesto, roasted tomatoes and pecorino

Family Style Buffet of Signature Dishes including:
- grilled all-natural hanger steak w/ parsnip puree and sweet-garlic spinach
- pan roasted pork tenderloin w/ local apples and Swiss chard
- grilled wild salmon w/ oranges and roasted peppers
- olive oil poached chicken w/ kale and smoky chicken jus

Side Dishes:
rosemary truffle fries
mushroom bread pudding
potato-bacon gratin
