There's nothing else quite like it. Boston Uncorked's annual Summer Solstice soiree is back for a 5th year of indulgent celebration of fine wine, warm weather, passionate people, and soothing sounds.
The formula is stimulatingly sexy: enjoy a large selection of wines from around the world along with sensuous live music, balmy summer breezes, a million dollar rooftop view overlooking Boston Common, intriguing people from greater Boston and beyond, and a climactic sunset.
The four unique wine tasting tables - offering some 24 wines in all - will include a phenomenal selection from Michael Mondavi's Folio collection:
- Villa Sandi IL Fresco Extra Dry (Italy)
- Fillaboa Albarino (Spain)
- Donnafugata Anthilia (Italy)
- Laurenz V Singing Gruner Veltliner (Austria)
- I'M Deep Rose (California)
- Palacios Remondo La Vendimia (Spain)
We'll be stirred by the sultry sounds of Florencia Gonzalez, jazz and classical saxophone performer, composer and arranger, who'll form a musical duo this evening playing some elegant jazz, bossa novas, boleros, and more.
Tasty bites will be featured from the fabulous chefs of blu Restaurant.
