33 Restaurant

7-9pm** :: $35/person

Wine 101 is SOLD OUT.

Have you heard wine drinkers refer to “the bouquet” or “the nose”, “the mouth feel” and “the 33bar.jpgfinish”?  What does all of this mean when all you smell or taste are “grapes”?

At Boston Uncorked, we know how daunting wine can be to the uninitiated, and we are here to help.  Our first “Wine 101” event last year was hugely popular (it sold out in 30 minutes!), so we are bringing it back and, we are planning “Wine 201” and “Wine 301” events for later in 2006.

Join Boston Uncorked, wine educator Mark Leighton, 33 Restaurant & Lounge and Clos du Bois wines as we learn how to observe, smell and taste the differences between some of the most popular red and white varietals.  33’s Executive Chef Anthony Dawodu will be preparing tasty hors d’ oeuvres as an accompaniment to the wine offerings.

33tables.jpgIn order to promote the best learning environment possible, we are limiting this event to 40 people.  Please note that the instructional and group tasting portions of the evening will begin promptly at 7:15, so plan to arrive as close to 7pm as possible.

** 33 is offering a fabulous $33 pre-fix dinner that will be available for attendees before and after Wine 101.  Everyone is encouraged to take advantage of this and plan their evening accordingly.
